About the Photographer
My name is Joy Elizabeth, and I’m a traveler, photographer, artist, creative, reader, and fighter of injustice. I love to capture the beauty of the world around me, and raise awareness about the injustices that I see. Too often it’s easy to be silent, and to look the other way. But I want to speak up for those who can’t speak for themselves. I want to be a voice for the voiceless. Photography is just one way that I can do that.
My husband and I are full-time volunteers in Southeast Asia. Our vision is to see the Gospel spread through this region to those who have never had a chance to hear it before. We are currently working in the prevention of human trafficking, through education, awareness and of course, the Gospel. Together with a team, we work to see that those who are vulnerable to exploitation know & understand what human trafficking is, how to protect themselves and their family, and the truth of the freedom in Christ.
